- Job Title: Coating, Painting QC Inspector.
- Project: Multipurpose DP3 vessel.
- Location: Worldwide (currently in Romania).
- Duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Rotation: 90/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
- Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid only while working.
- Start date: ASAP (Approximately June 2026).
- Insurance: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in coating/painting inspection within marine or offshore environments.
- Certification to NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector or FROSIO Level III.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written) for reporting and onboard communication.
- Strong knowledge of coating application procedures, inspection techniques, and international standards.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Tasks:
- Conduct inspections and quality control activities for coating and painting works on offshore pipelines and structures.
- Verify surface preparation, environmental conditions, material usage, and application methods meet project specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with coating procedures and the manufacturer’s technical data sheets.
- Witness and document inspections, including surface cleanliness, profile, environmental conditions, DFT (Dry Film Thickness) measurements, holiday detection, and adhesion testing.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and submit them in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives on coating quality issues.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations during all coating activities.
- Support non-conformance reporting and corrective/preventive action processes.
- Participate in pre-job meetings and toolbox talks to align inspection plans and quality expectations.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors when required.
